Country Gardens plc announces in connection with the recent Rights Issue that
all the 5,722,874 New Ordinary Shares offered have been taken up either by
acceptances (51.624% - 2,954,379 New Ordinary Shares) or by placing with
Institutional Investors (48.376% - 2,768,495 New Ordinary Shares). 
Accordingly, there are no New Ordinary Shares to be taken up by underwriters. 
The placing was at a premium in excess of the Rights Issue price and expenses
of sale.
