    The Board of Caspian Energy Inc., an oil and gas exploration company operating
    in Kazakhstan, notes the recent movement in its share price. Drilling activity continues on the Baktygaryn �703 exploration well and has
not yet reached the target zone. The well is
    currently at a depth of 2,391m and the Company is continuing to drill through the salt overhang towards the Permian target.  A further
announcement will be made in due course.
