CLOSE EUROPEAN ACCELERATED FUND LIMITED (THE "COMPANY") 
 
DIRECTORATE CHANGE 
 
The Company announces the retirement of Mr Talmai Morgan as a director of the 
Company effective 23 June 2010.  Mr Peter Niven, Director and Mr John Le 
Prevost, Director, express on behalf of the Company their grateful thanks to Mr 
Morgan for his contribution to the Company since its launch in July 2005. 
 
The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Charles Tracy as 
non-executive director with effect from 23 June 2010.  Speaking for the Company, 
Mr Niven advised  "We felt it was appropriate to co-opt Mr Charles Tracy as a 
director because he brings to the Company his not  inconsiderable understanding 
of these types of investment companies, having sat as Chairman of a similar such 
investment company  managed by Close Investments Limited in the past.  As the 
Company moves towards its final redemption date in 2011, it is considered 
appropriate that the board has strong technical experience of the issues which 
can arise in such situations." 
 
Details of Mr Tracy's experience are set out below: 
 
Charles Tracy is a resident of Guernsey, with over 30 years experience in 
banking and investment management. On joining N.M. Rothschild & Sons in 1975 he 
was made responsible for Asian and commodity-related investments, working in 
Malaysia and Hong Kong before taking up the post of Managing Director of N.M. 
Rothschild & Sons (C.I.) Ltd. in 1981, and remaining in that position until 
1998. During that period he was Chairman of the Association of Guernsey Banks 
and of the Guernsey International Business Association. He is currently 
non-executive Chairman of Louvre Fund Management Limited, President of the 
Guernsey Tax Tribunal and Chairman of the Guernsey Banking Deposit Compensation 
Scheme. 
 
Mr Tracy has, in the past 5 years, been a director of the following publicly

1The FSA cancelled the admission to listing on the Official List of the UKLA of 
all participating shares of Japanese Accelerated Performance Fund Limited on 20 
January 2010 following the redemption of all participating shares in issue and 
that company has now been liquidated. 
 
Mr Tracy has confirmed that there is no other information to be disclosed under 
UKLA Listing Rule LR 9.6.13R.
