LONDON--Clean Air Power Ltd. (CAP.LN), a developer and global
leader in Dual-Fuel engine management software for heavy duty
vehicles, said Thursday United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) has
agreed to provide in-use operation of its new Genesis EDGE
Dual-Fuel(TM) for the Volvo D13 and MACK MP8 engines.
MAIN FACTS:
-UPS will provide 10 MACK MP8 tractor units which will be
installed with the U.S. version of Clean Air Power's Genesis EDGE
Dual-Fuel(TM) system for demonstration and optimization.
-Trucks are expected to be fully operational in October.
-Testing agreement with UPS confirms that development program
for a U.S. Genesis-EDGE product has reached an advanced stage and
Board is confident it is on track to deliver a product capable of
servicing the growing demand seen in the U.S. for natural gas
vehicles.
-Clean Air Power shares at 0755 GMT up 2.82% at 9 pence valuing
the company at 15.71 million pounds.
