             CLEAN AIR POWER ANNOUNCES SIGNIFICANT US PATENT GRANT


Clean Air Power Ltd (AIM:CAP) the developer of Dual-Fuel(TM) combustion
technology that enables heavy-duty diesel engines to run on a combination of
both diesel and natural gas today announces that it has received approval of a
further US patent for its technology.

On 18 September 2007 the Company was granted a significant United States patent
(No. 7,270,089) titled; "Method and Apparatus for Controlling Transition between
Operating Modes in a Multimode Engine", that covers the future development of
Dual-Fuel(TM) technology.

Clean Air Power believes that an internal combustion engine capable of operating
in multiple combustion modes will be one of the solutions to meet future
emissions and efficiency targets.

Dual-Fuel(TM) combustion technology, developed by Clean Air Power, is one
example of a multi-mode engine, enabling heavy-duty diesel engines to run on a
combination of both diesel and natural gas. It is imperative that multi-mode
engine transitions between various modes are smooth and controlled to allow for
seamless engine power output, which is achieved by Clean Power's technology.

A corresponding European patent application, published under EP1631739 is in
progress.

It is Clean Air Power's strategy to develop and patent significant elements of
Dual-Fuel(TM) to ensure future protection of its technology to deliver an
efficient, cleaner and lower cost alternative to conventional diesel fuel.
