                   Appointment of new Non-Executive Director

The Board of Clean Air Power Limited (AIM: CAP) is pleased to announce the
appointment, with immediate effect, of Dr. Ulrich Woehr as a Non-Executive
Director of the Company.

Ulrich Woehr, aged 72, lives in Germany and has extensive financial and business
experience.

John Pettitt, CEO of Clean Air Power Limited, commented: "It gives me great
pleasure to welcome Ulrich to the Board. I am sure he will bring a significant
benefit as we continue to develop and build a substantial company based around
our unique technology that converts a heavy-duty diesel engine into a
Dual-FuelTM engine capable of running on a mix of diesel and natural gas."
