               Capital Radio Renews Contract with Chris Tarrant

Capital Radio plc, the UK's leading commercial radio group, today announces
that its 95.8FM breakfast DJ, Chris Tarrant, has renewed his contract and will
remain at the radio station until to the end of 2003.
