                       Amendment of Final Dividend Date                       
 
Further to the announcement dated 9 November 2000, this is to confirm that 
the final dividend of 12.5p net per share will be payable to shareholders on 
the register of members at the close of business on 24 November 2000 (and not 
17 November, as previously notified), with the ex-dividend date of 20
November 2000 accordingly.
