                Mintek smelter second quarter production results

Braemore Resources (AIM: BRR) announces the second quarter of production results
from Mintek's ConRoast Smelter in Randburg, South Africa. The results continue
the successful operational performance of the first quarter and reinforce the
company's strategy to move from a demonstration facility to an initial 10MW
operation.

Despite power supply interruptions experienced through the quarter, some 2,869t
of lower grade revert tails were processed which generated 4,839 oz of platinum
group metals (PGMs 4E), with recoveries averaging 99.4%. It is important to
note, despite smelting selected lower-grade material, the high recovery rates
achieved confirm the efficiency of the smelting process, even for low-grade,
high-chrome feed material.

During this period of operation, the sulphur dioxide (SO2) emissions were
negligible, averaging two parts per million (ppm). This is well below the
regulated limit, confirming the initial design assumptions for the ConRoast
process as a cleaner and far less environmentally harmful PGM smelting process
than the traditional alternative.
