            #4.2 MILLION SHARE PLACEMENT FOR NICKEL SULPHIDE PROJECT

Braemore Resources Plc (AIM:BRR) advises the receipt of subscriptions for
42,000,000 ordinary shares at 10p per share ("the Placement"), which will be
issued and admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange
after completion of the acquisition of Western Consolidated Nickel Pty Ltd ("WCN
").

The acquisition of WCN by Braemore was announced on 9 May 2005, and is subject
to the approval of Braemore shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting.

The funds raised will be used to finance resource definition drilling, pilot
plant testwork and definitive feasibility study for WCN's nickel projects in
Western Australia.  WCN has an agreement with WMC Resources Limited for the
production of high grade nickel sulphide product from the reclamation and
processing of extensive sulphide nickel tailings located at the Leinster,
Kambalda and Mt Keith nickel mines of WMC Resources in Western Australia.

Braemore's document in respect of the acquisition of WCN and Re-admission to
trading on AIM is currently being finalised for lodgment with the London Stock
Exchange and distribution to Braemore shareholders.
