                          Transactions in MBFG shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that between  
14 and 21 April 2008 it has purchased 181,552 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani
Fashion Group (MBFG) at an average price of Euro 16.14 per share for a total
consideration of Euro 2,930,648.

As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 18,326,970 ordinary
shares of MBFG, representing 61.28 % of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.
