                          Transactions in MBFG shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that it has sold
55,180 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG) between 5 and 11
March 2008 at an average price of Euro 16.0188 per share for a total consideration
of Euro 883,916.

As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 17,607,654 ordinary
shares of MBFG, representing 58.87 % of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.
