                           Transactions in BDH shares

Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 14
January 2008 it has purchased 217,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price
of Euro6.55 per share for a total consideration of Euro1,421,350.

As a result of this transaction, the Company currently holds 497,040 ordinary
shares in treasury.

The Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,106,776 (excluding shares held in
treasury).
