                           Transaction in BDH shares



Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that today
January 9th 2007 it has given instruction to transfer 53.548 ordinary shares to
its Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman Mr. Giuseppe Gullo as beneficiary
of the BDH Free Shares Plan.



Under the BDH Free Shares Plan (the 'Plan'), awards over Shares were granted for
nil consideration to executive directors and a small number of key employees of
the BDH Group prior to IPO to reward them for their contribution to the
Company's IPO.  The Plan was approved during a meeting of BDH's shareholders
held on 25 May 2007.  The total number of Shares over which awards were granted
under the Plan was 372,155.  Under the terms of the Plan, two conditions needed
to be satisfied to enable the beneficiaries to call for the Shares comprised in
their awards: admission to trading occurring prior to 31 December 2007 and a
share price increase of 7% over the IPO price.  Both conditions were satisfied
on 20 June 2007.



As a result of this transaction, the Company currently holds 259,990 ordinary
shares in treasury. The Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,343,826
(excluding shares held in treasury).
