                           Transactions in BDH shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 7
January 2008 it has purchased 3,700 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of
Euro 6.90 per share for a total consideration of Euro 25,530.

As a result of this transaction, the Company currently holds  308,938 ordinary
shares in treasury.

The Company has ordinary shares in issue of  75,294,878 (excluding shares held
in treasury).
