                           Transaction in BDH shares


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 27
December 2007 it has purchased 15,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price
of Euro6.335 per share for a total consideration of Euro 95,025.

As a result of this transaction, the Company currently holds  293,238 ordinary
shares in treasury.

The Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,310,578 (excluding shares held in
treasury).
