                           Transaction in BDH shares





Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 11
December it has purchased 3,100 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of Euro
6.10 per share for a total consideration of Euro 18,910.  As a result of this
purchase, the Company currently holds 299,579 ordinary shares in treasury. The
Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,304,237 (excluding shares held in
treasury).
