                           Transaction in BDH shares





Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 6
December it has also purchased 667 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of
Euro5.93 per share for a total consideration of Euro 3,959.  As a result of this
purchase, the Company currently holds 293,479 ordinary shares in treasury. The
Company has ordinary shares in issue of 75,310,337 (excluding shares held in
treasury).
