                                  BOARD CHANGE


Brammer plc is pleased to announce that with effect from 1 September 2005, Mr
Svante Adde will be appointed to the Board as a non executive director.   Mr
Adde (49), a Swedish national living in London, has a wide range banking and
industrial background and is currently Managing Director of Compass Advisers
Ltd., in London.   Prior to Compass, he was CFO of Ahistrom Corporation and
worked from 1989 to 2003 at Lazard in corporate finance latterly as Managing
Director.


Svante Adde is also a non executive director of KCI Konecranes and Metso, both
listed Finnish Companies.


Commenting on this appointment, David Dunn, Chairman of Brammer said:
