Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange
Limited for a total of 25,000,000 common shares of no par
value each ("shares") to be admitted to the Official List.
Permission to admit the new shares was granted on Wednesday,
6 January 1999.

These shares are being reserved under a block listing and
will be issued upon the exercise of share options pursuant to
the Stock Option Plan.

When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the
existing issued common shares.
