Statement re Preliminary Results for the financial year ended 29 February 2008 

Block Shield Corporation plc, the provider of innovative electronic components
and processes utilised in electromagnetic compatibility and Radio Frequency
Identification applications, announces that its preliminary results for
financial year ended 29 February 2008 will be published on 2 July 2008.

The Company would also like to inform the market that it now expects $1.5
million of its previously announced $7.95 million of revenues for the financial
year ended 29 February 2008 to be booked for revenue recognition purposes,
under the recently implemented IFRS accounting standards, during the first half
of the financial year ending 28 February 2009. Accordingly, the Company expects
revenues for the financial year ended 29 February 2008 to be $6.45 million and
for losses for that period to increase reflecting the loss of margin on the
sale.
