Resignation of Director

Bidcorp PLC announces that Stephen Hepplewhite, an executive director of the
Company, has resigned on 21 February 2002 as a director of the Company. Mr
Hepplewhite is presently managing director of Bidcorp PLC's Shipping Division a
role he will continue to fulfil until a suitable replacement is found.
