CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF AUIRON ENERGY LIMITED

Mr Warwick J Higgs, formerly executive director Special Projects, became a
non-executive director with effect 1 September 2002.


Dr Michael J Andrews, non-executive director, retired from the AuIron Board with
effect 5 September 2002.


Mr Lou Clinton, non-executive deputy chairman, will retire from the AuIron Board
with effect close of business 10 September 2002.


The Chairman and Board take this opportunity to express their thanks and
appreciation for the contribution made by these 2 retiring directors.
