ADDITION OF SECURITIES TO SETS

Introduction

1. Stock Exchange Notice N10/00, issued on 1 March 2000, set out the process
for selecting those securities that should be added to, or removed from, SETS.
As stated in the Notice no securities will be removed from SETS in the March
review.

Additional securities

2. The following nine securities were selected as part of the March review and
will be added to SETS with effect from 20 March 2000:

Bowthorpe
Celltech Group
Kewill Systems
Parity Group
QXL.Com
Scoot.Com
Sherwood International
Thus

3. In addition to the above, additional securities may be added to SETS as a
result of the review of the FTSE Actuaries UK Share Indices.
