Asterand plc announces in accordance with DTR 3.1.2 R that 125,000 nil cost 
options over Asterand plc ordinary shares were awarded to Mr. John Stchur, Chief 
Financial Officer today pursuant to its 2007 Long Term Incentive Plan.  The 
options have a three year vesting period.  Following the award, Mr. Stchur holds 
options over a total of 1,107,825 ordinary shares.
