                                Re: Change of Name

Following the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of the Company, which took 
place on 24 April 2006, the Directors have decided that although all the 
resolutions set out in the admission document dated 31 March 2006 were passed, 
the resolution:

    (e)    name of the Company to be changed to Seniors Finance Plc

will not be effected, as had previously been announced.

The Company will continue to trade as Ardent Group Plc and the ticker will 
remain as ARN.
