Update on Potential Investment

Further to the Company's announcements of 27 February 2020 and 2 April 2020, Amiad (AIM: AFS), a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that it has, today, received the approval of the Director General of the Israeli Competition Authority for the proposed subscription of up to 7,652,174 new ordinary shares in the Company by FIMI Israel Opportunity.

The proposed subscription remains conditional upon the admission to trading on AIM of the Subscription Shares and the Proposed Open Offer Shares (as such terms are defined in the Company's circular to shareholders dated 27 February 2020), and such admission becoming effective at 8.00am BST on or around 29 April 2020 or such later date as may be determined by the Company (with a long stop date of 30 September 2020). The Company will update the market in due course.
