                           ("Amiad" or "the Company")

Amiad, a producer and global supplier of automated water filters and filtration
systems for the industrial & municipal and the irrigation markets, announces
today that Kibbutz Amiad ("the Kibbutz"), the controlling shareholder of
the Company, has today given notice to the Company that Mr. Yosef Rokah, a
director of the Company and the chairman of the Kibbutz, will be stepping down
from his position as chairman of the Kibbutz and, as a consequence, as a
director of the Company.

The date upon which Mr. Rokah's resignation as a director of the Company will
take effect has not yet been finalised. Accordingly, he will continue to serve
as a director of the Company until the Kibbutz nominates a replacement for him.
