This Interim Management Statement is provided in accordance with Rule 4.3 of the 
Disclosure and Transparency Rules and also includes relevant information in 
respect of the period from 1 September 2009 to the date of issue of this 
announcement. This statement has been prepared solely to provide additional 
information in order to meet the relevant requirements Disclosure and 
Transparency Rules, and should not be relied on by shareholders, or any other 
party, for any other purpose. 
 
 
Investment Objective: 
 
 
To invest in a wide variety of quality stocks both in the UK and abroad, seeking 
consistent growth in capital and income. 
 
 
Material Events: 
 
 
At the interim results the board were pleased to announce a dividend of 3.9p an 
increase on the 3.85p paid last year.
