                          Notification of Shareholding

Arana Therapeutics Limited, (AIM: AAHx ASX: AAH) (the "Company"), the Australian
biopharmaceutical company that uses superior technology to develop next
generation drugs that will improve the lives of patients with inflammatory
diseases and cancer has identified on 20 December 2007 that with effect from 19
December 2007 the following changes in its share register

(a)    Citicorp Nominees Pty Limited reduced its direct holding from 14,698,834
(6.26% % of the issued share capital of the Company) ordinary shares in the
capital of the Company to 3,868,689 (1.65% of the issued share capital of the
Company) ordinary shares in the capital of the Company; and

(b)   Rockwell Securities Limited increased its holding by 10,926,884 ordinary
shares to 10,997,103 (4.68% of the issued share capital of the Company) ordinary
shares in the capital of the Company.
