Clarion welcomes new Board member Rachel Fletcher

Clarion Housing Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Fletcher to its Group Board, with effect from 1 September 2022. Rachel will also serve on the Remuneration, Nomination and People Committee.

A regulatory expert, Rachel is currently Director for Regulation and Economics at Octopus Energy and was previously Chief Executive at the Water Services Regulation Authority, Ofwat. She has also held senior positions, including at board level, at Ofgem - the energy regulator for Great Britain.

Commenting on the appointment, Clarion's Group Chair, David Avery, said: "The Board is delighted to welcome Rachel. Rachel brings with her a wealth of regulatory experience from major sectors. This will be particularly welcome as we adapt to some of the changes being introduced in the new Social Housing Regulation Bill."
