(PINKSHEETS: VRED) -- Dr. Alan McCartney, COO of Virtual Ed Link announced today that members of the Virtual Ed Link management team will attend the New York State Council of School Superintendent's Winter Institute: The Heart of Educational Leadership: "Kids First in Every Decision" from January 10-11, held at The Desmond Hotel & Conference Center in Albany, NY.

The New York State Council of School Superintendents represents over 735 school superintendents across New York State that represent budgets that range from under $10 million to above $200 million. More than 700 superintendents, deputy superintendents, key education leaders, noted educators and others attend the Council's Conference each year.

Dr. Elnardo Webster, Superintendent from Roselle Borough Schools, and Dr. Alan McCartney will be presenting a skills building workshop titled, "Enhancing Student Safety is an Interactive Process," to superintendents. The workshop will show how Roselle Borough Schools, using the Virtual Ed Link Safety and Security Management System, are creating a culture where students only have one concern: to be the best possible students they can be.

Dr. Webster has been quoted in the New Jersey press as saying, "We have just recently launched the first interactive Safety and Security Management System in New Jersey, a system that allows us to protect our students and contains educational tools for students and parents.
