Norwegian telecom operator Telenor ASA (TEL.OS) Friday said its
consolidated earnings before interest and taxes from Thailand-based
subsidiary Dtac rose to NOK743 million in the fourth quarter from
NOK725 million a year earlier, helped by growing revenue.
MAIN FACTS:
-Revenues rose to NOK4.49 billion from NOK3.77 billion.
-Ebitda rose to NOK1.24 billion from NOK1.13 billion.
-Capex rose to NOK2.81 billion from NOK577 million.
-During the quarter the number of subscriptions increased by
1.45 million to 25.308 million.
-In 2013, DTAC expects high single digit revenue growth, EBITDA
margin of 30%-31% and capex of minimum THB8 billion.
-At 1142 GMT, shares in Telenor were down 0.1% at NOK118.90
against a 0.6% rise in the wider Oslo market.
