Russia produced an average of 10.23 million barrels a day of crude oil and gas condensate in February, up 0.2% from January, statistics from the Energy Ministry showed Wednesday.

The country produced 39.09 million metric tons of oil in February. In the first two months of the year, Russia's production totaled 82.29 million tons of crude oil and condensate, up 1.5% on the year.

Russia's oil exports fell 0.9% on-year in February to 18.49 million tons, the Energy Ministry said.

Natural gas production declined 1.0% from a year earlier in the month to 57.14 billion cubic meters.
