Infinite Group, Inc. (OTCBB: IMCI) today announced the launch of the company's information security practice. Established to meet the data security needs of both commercial and government sector organizations, Infinite Group will deliver a full range of IT security management services, emphasizing security processes and advanced technologies.

The new practice group will offer virtualization security, network perimeter security assessments, Network Access Control architectures, vulnerability assessments and Security Information Management (SIM) readiness assessments. In addition, Infinite Group Inc. (IGI) will leverage its deep experience in virtualization and cloud computing to provide Cloud Security readiness assessments and PCI Audit, Certification and remediation offerings.

Rich Gardner, a computer security expert with 20 years of experience, is leading the firm's new security practice. Rich has architected and implemented security programs for numerous large corporations, including Global Crossing, Computer Associates, and AT&T, and has worked across a number of industry sectors including finance, entertainment, telecommunications and government.
