ImageXpres Corporation (PINKSHEETS: IMJX), today announced the hiring of a new, lead software developer to lead its team in completing the Company's newest development projects. Mr. Phil Sacchitella, a graduate of RIT Information Science College, has won RIT awards for entrepreneurial software applications, primarily in the medical field. ImageXpres is now in final negotiations to acquire Mr. Sacchitella's iPhone/Android development firm and software products. His firm has specialized in mobile medical applications on the iPhone and Android platforms, and his addition positions ImageXpres for custom medical applications and solutions that adhere to rigorous HIPAA regulations, and secure client-server communications protocols, vital for broad acceptance by the healthcare industry.

John Zankowski, ImageXpres President and CEO, states, "Mr. Sacchitella will be leading ImageXpres's iPhone, Android product development, helping to expand on the company's Surg-i-Scan™ product line, currently in review at Apple, awaiting Apple approval for public release on the App Store. The Surg-i-Scan™ app, revised for Apple's iOS4 communications compatibility, will be announced within the coming weeks."

As part of this acquisition, Mr. Sacchitella, with over twenty years of experience developing Windows, Mac, and Linux applications, will bring a mix of the latest in information science as well as a broad range of experience. While he is an expert in mobile and web application development, with a focus in medical applications for the iPhone and Android platforms, Mr. Sacchitella is also very experienced in touchscreen kiosk software design, interactive database architecture, and large-scale enterprise solutions, such as the recently announced ImageXpres FreePrintze™ program. Mr. Sacchitella has been charged with responsibility for overseeing the software design and implementation of the FreePrintze™ and SmartKiosk™ Digital Advertising programs.

Mr. Zankowski states, "FreePrintze™, the revolutionary interactive advertising service from ImageXpres, is now in the rollout phase, targeted for millions of participating consumers. Phase One of the re-designed FreePrintze™ website, now undergoing continuous enhancements, will feature an image upload engine, a consumer photo gallery and an easy-to-use picture ordering system. Phase two of this upgrade will include premium memberships giving customers the ability to crop, adjust, and edit their pictures online, and then order those images. Phase Three will include the ability to order large custom prints and other unique photo related products, as well as a unique consumer 'Rewardz Program' and a 'Premium Places' section. These sections will assist in attracting advertisers, and will provide consumers valuable monetary coupons and prizes from our participating business advertisers. These new features are being extremely well received by new advertising customers, and will be explained and announced in the coming weeks."

Mr. Zankowski adds, "The Company is also completing a new, SmartKiosk™ user interface with several different versions, customized for the different industries its SmartKiosk's are placed and sold. This quarter the Company plans to announce some new distributors and resellers of its FreePrintze™ and SmartKiosk™ products, who will significantly assist the company to rapidly market and sell its products nationally. Also, ImageXpres will talk about some of its pilot locations and contracts with major retailers, some of which are in market trials, and some that are in their infancy or are in the final stages of negotiation.

ImageXpres will also post its Second Quarter numbers on the Pink Sheets within a few weeks. It will show the Company's financial performance through the second quarter, and highlight marketing successes it has had this year to date.
