IBSG International, Inc. (OTC BB: IBIN) is proud to announce today
that its subsidiary IBS Group, Inc., (IBSG) reports that the state
of Kentucky Small Business Development Centers will be adding
IBSGs BizWorldPro digital commerce platform to their small- to
mid-sized business services network. Although no assurances can be
given, management anticipates that the state of Kentucky SBDC
project is expected to generate $10.8 million in revenues to be
shared between the Kentucky SBDC organization and IBSG over the
life of the five-year agreement, with approximately $1,250,000
realized in revenues during the first 12 months of operation. The
Kentucky Small Business Development Center (KSBDC) network is a
premier provider of business services that empower entrepreneurs
with practical information, skills, and strategies that make
measurable, positive impact on the performance of their businesses
and, by extension, on the communities in which they work. The KSBDC
is dedicated to strengthening Kentucky businesses and creating
economic growth by building strategic alliances and by providing
excellent management assistance, educational programs, and helpful
resources for Kentucky small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Kentuckys Small Business Development Centers have been assisting
the Commonwealths small business community for more than 20 years.
With 15 service centers statewide and an experienced and
knowledgeable staff, KSBDC is a great resource for both existing
business owners and potential entrepreneurs. KSBDC is co-sponsored
by the US Small Business Administration and is administered by the
University of Kentucky and the Gatton College of Business and
Economics, in partnership with regional universities, community and
private colleges, and the private sector. The state of Kentucky is
looking to take a premier position among SBDC organizations by
encouraging businesses within our state to utilize technology to
its fullest opportunity, says Kentucky SBDC Associate State
Director Dr. Gordon Garrett, and we are looking at IBSGs
BizWorldPro as a platform upon which we can build an online service
and support facility where we can help small businesses to
accelerate their growth and sustainability in the market. Alan M.
Shafer, Chief Operating Officer of IBSG, adds that we are proud to
partner with the Kentucky SBDC in developing a state-of-art
platform to support the SBDC, its counselors, and the small- and
mid-sized businesses they serve. As we build additional
functionality to meet Kentuckys needs, we will be offering those
enhancements to our other SBDC partners as well, thereby increasing
their productivities and the sustainability of their clients.
