(PINKSHEETS: VRED), a subsidiary of VIYYA Technologies (PINKSHEETS: VYON), the developer and marketer of the leading edge technology platform for VELI's School Safety Management System (SSMS) used to automate school and campus safety and security, announced today that they have renewed their strategic relationship with the Clements Group to provide community/technical colleges with a customized solution for the development and implementation of effective two-year college crisis management programs.

The Clements Group is a full-service resource development and institutional advancement consulting firm that specializes in helping community colleges, technical institutes and K-12s to change lives and change communities. One of the strengths of the Clements Group is its commitment to educational institutions.

They believe community colleges and technical institutes play a unique role in higher education and the firm's experience reflects its ability to assist each client to interpret its role to the communities it serves in such a way that constituents respond in a positive manner. Their community-focused process is equally well-suited to the school district. The Clements Group will be working with Dr. Alan McCartney, VRED COO, to provide SSMS technology and services to their customer base.

Dr. McCartney, in conjunction with the Clements Group, recently presented the first of a series of country wide webinars to over thirty participants representing approximately twelve (12) community/technical colleges. The title of the webinar is, Mass Notification Alone Cannot Create a Safe and Secure Learning Environment and is based on the International Association of College Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) recommendations for a holistic approach to campus security and safety that includes planning, training, preparation, prevention, intervention and communication. They found that too many leaders believe that a mass notification solution solves the problem of being prepared for a large-scale incident. In reality, mass notification technology without sufficient planning, training, preparation and communication will exacerbate an already chaotic situation.

Dr. Rich Gross, Executive Vice President of the Clements Group, stated, "Some of our consultants, participated in the webinar along with college representatives and reported that, college presidents in the audience were impressed." Both Dr. Gross and Dr. McCartney feel that this joint effort will generate revenues.
