CSI Founder and Chairman John A. Williams Sr. Inducted into Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame

John A. Williams Sr., founder and chairman of Computer Services,
Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end financial
technology solutions, has been recognized as one of four inductees
into the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame for 2014.
Each year, the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame celebrates
stories of Kentucky’s most successful entrepreneurs. The mission of
the annual award is to raise awareness of the impact that
entrepreneurship has made in the Commonwealth and to encourage
others to pursue similar endeavors. Williams was presented with his
award by former CSI board member Dr. Constantine Curris during the
fifth annual Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame induction ceremony
on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014.
Throughout his lengthy career in the financial services
industry, Williams has earned numerous honors for his leadership
and innovation, including the Governor’s Technology Award for
Kentucky, induction into the University of Kentucky’s Gatton
College of Business and Economics Hall of Fame, and Murray State
University’s Telecommunications Systems Management Department’s
inaugural Entrepreneurship Award, which has been renamed the John
A. Williams Entrepreneurship Award in his honor. Outside of his
work with CSI, Williams currently serves as co-chair for the
Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute for School
Principals. Additionally, he has held previous positions as
chairman of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis,
Louisville Branch and is a founder and the first president of the
Association of Financial Technology (AFT).
“I am deeply honored to be recognized as an inductee into the
Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame and will strive to continue to
live up to the standards set by my fellow honorees and those
recognized previously,” said Williams. “Nearly 50 years after
starting CSI, I will look to this honor as further motivation to
maintain CSI’s momentum in the financial industry.”
