TOKYO--Japan Airlines Corp. (9205.TO) said Tuesday that a Singapore-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner turned back to Tokyo's Haneda airport soon after takeoff due to a problem with the anti-icing system.

A spokesman with the airline, known as JAL, said the airplane with 155 passengers on board took off from Haneda at 1629 GMT but returned to the airport at 1720 GMT after indications of glitches in the anti-icing system of an engine on the left side. There were no injuries.

The airline is investigating the cause of the problem.

JAL recently resumed commercial Dreamliner services following the aircraft's global grounding after batteries were found to have burnt on two of the planes in January.
