Colonel Jeffrey Powers CEO of Homeland Security Technology, Inc. (a
division of Amnis, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AMNI)) announced today that
HST, Inc. was selected by a Marine Corps unit to supply them with
three different versions of GPS for an operation in Iraq. Due to
operational security (OPSEC) considerations, the name of the
specific unit and the area in which they are conducting operations
are being withheld at this time. HST, Inc. delivered Rhino 130,
ETrex Legend C and Garmin GPS276c models for this operation. "All
of these models are loaded with Iraq street maps and our Garmin
models are compatible with military grid reference systems (MGRS),"
commented Colonel Powers. "We are proud that our GPS models
equipped with Iraq street maps and peer-to-peer positioning systems
are being used in Iraq." "Our offices received the request from the
deploying unit on Thursday afternoon before the long Memorial Day
weekend," said Mark Wilson, HST, Inc.'s Director of Security
Systems Division. "The unit said they needed to take receipt
immediately because they were leaving on a four day pass prior to
deploying and had to pack their gear for deployment. I called our
joint venture partner GPS World Supply in Illinois and they loaded
and shipped the requested GPS units that afternoon. I received them
Friday morning and was able drive to Camp Pendleton Friday
afternoon and hand deliver the GPS equipment on time," concluded
Wilson. This evolution demonstrates the speed with which HST,
working in conjunction with their joint venture partners, is able
to supply the Marine Corps with equipment when requested. About
