The "Quarterback" was originally developed by Digital Force Technologies for use by special operations forces primarily for conducting underway ship interdictions. The "Quarterback" is capable of launching a grappling hook and caving ladder over a five story building. Some of the other potential uses for the "Quarterback" launch system include numerous search and rescue applications and use by military and law enforcement to safely and rapidly introduce bulking, hard to deliver operational gear into hostile environments.
