The panelists will be discussing Open Source alternatives (Asterisk®/FreeSWITCH®) and more traditional "C" based proprietary APIs. They will examine the options of developing and deploying using an XML or Web 2.0 (Ruby, Ruby-On-Rails, Adhearson) type of environment. They will also discuss options for premise, hosted and cloud based solutions.
