STC Sangoma Technologies Corporation

Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSX VENTURE:STC), a leading provider of
connectivity hardware and software products including VoIP, TDM voice, WANs and
Internet infrastructure, today has announced effective August 31, 2007, Yves
Laliberte has joined Sangoma's Board of Directors.


Mr. Laliberte has more than two decades experience in the telecommunication and
networking markets. He currently serves as Aastra Telecom's Executive Vice
President, and prior to that was Vice President, Strategic Alliances at Avaya
Canada Corp. and Director of Operations - Service Providers at Cisco Systems of
Canada. Mr. Laliberte had also been a member of Aastra's Board of Directors
since 1996 until he joined in his current role. He is a graduate of the
Directors Education Program offered by The Institute of Corporate Directors in
partnership with the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

David Macdonald, Sangoma's Chairman since March 2001, has resigned from the
Board effective August 31, 2007.
