Salmon River Resources Ltd. ("Salmon River" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SAL)
is pleased to announce that the TSX Venture Exchange has approved the Company's
proposal to settle indebtedness of $600,000 by the issuance of 1,714,285 shares
of the Company at a price of $0.35 per share (see news release dated November
27, 2011).


All shares issued pursuant to this debt settlement are subject to a four-month
hold period expiring on April 16, 2012 in accordance with the policies of the
TSX Venture Exchange and applicable securities legislation.
