Painted Pony Petroleum Ltd. ("Painted Pony" or the "Company") (TSX
VENTURE:PPY.A) (TSX VENTURE:PPY.B) is pleased to report that its revolving
credit facility has increased to a $20.0 million demand revolving operating
credit facility and a $5.0 million demand non-revolving acquisition/development
facility. Both facilities are provided by a Canadian chartered bank. Upon the
closing of the Company's acquisition that was previously disclosed via press
release on May 26, 2009 (the "Proposed Acquisition"), the revolving credit
facility will increase by a further $4.0 million to $24.0 million. The Proposed
Acquisition is scheduled to close on July 15, 2009. The credit facilities are
subject to a review date of October 31, 2009. Currently, Painted Pony has no
funds drawn under either credit facility.
