New West Energy Services Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NWE) ("New West" or the
"Corporation") is pleased to announce that Gerry Kerkhoff has been appointed
President and Chief Executive Officer of New West. Mr. Robert F. Chase has
stepped down as the President and Chief Executive Officer but remains in his
capacity as a director of the Corporation. 


Mr. Kerkhoff has over 20 years experience in operations and management of
various oil and gas service companies, including as the President and CEO of New
West Fluid Management Inc. from 1999 until 2007, when the company was sold.
Currently, Mr. Kerkhoff is the President and CEO of New West's wholly owned
subsidiary, Bearstone Environmental Solutions Inc. 


Also effective October 20, 2010, Mr. William A. Rand has been appointed as New
West's Chairman and Mrs. Karin Lutz has been appointed as Corporate Secretary.


The foregoing appointments are subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
