New West Energy Services Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NWE) ("New West" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce it has entered into a binding agreement with Newalta
Corporation pursuant to which the Company has agreed to acquire specialized
vacuum and water trucks and to retain the services of technical field
consultants, employed in the management of drilling waste (the "Acquisition").
The purchase price for the Acquisition is approximately $1.1 million and is
anticipated to be completed on or about May 31, 2010. The Acquisition purchase
price will be paid out of the proceeds of the Company's previously announced
private placement of up to 30,000,000 subscription receipts at a price of $0.05
per subscription receipt for gross proceeds of up to $1,500,000.
