Attention: Business/Financial Editors

The Medipattern Corporation ("Medipattern") (TSX VENTURE:MKI), a pioneer in the
development of medical imaging software solutions that help medical
practitioners in better understanding lesions and critical anatomy, and TomTec
Imaging Systems GmbH, a worldwide leader for 2D-, 3D- and 4D- solutions in the
area of medical ultrasound, are pleased to announce that they have signed a
teaming agreement for Medipattern's B-CAD(R) breast ultrasound imaging computer
aided detection (CAD) product. TomTec has integrated B-CAD into its
Image-Arena(TM) Platform Suite. B-CAD will make its debut in Image-Arena during
the upcoming European Congress of Radiology in Vienna, Austria March 3-7, 2011.

"TomTec and Medipattern have the skill and knowledge to bring analysis of breast
lesions to the forefront," commented Ellen Mendelson, MD FACR, who co-authored
the book The Practice of Breast Ultrasound: Techniques, Findings and
Differential Diagnosis with Prof. Dr. Helmut Madjar. "BI-RADS(R) based B-CAD
facilitates characterization of breast lesions imaged with ultrasound. Globally,
ultrasound is the leading diagnostic modality used for assessing breast masses,
yet understanding ultrasound images can be difficult. B-CAD is a great tool for
analyzing features of masses and educating practitioners."

"TomTec is a leader in Ultrasound applications and image analysis. In our
initiative to expand our offerings in general radiology, TomTec decided to make
a concentrated focus for breast imaging," commented Frank Schlau CMO of TomTec
Imaging Systems GmbH. "We naturally sought out a working relationship with
Medipattern as a pillar in our strategy. Medipattern has top marks in quality,
development excellence and clinical understanding. We look forward to marketing
our new breast centric application to our partners and customers worldwide."

"Medipattern's key strength is in analysis of critical anatomy within a
particular organ for example lesions within a breast. TomTec has an array of
applications which they combine into specialized suites bundled for their OEM
customers. The cooperation with TomTec will enable us to offer our B-CAD
advanced application together with a large suite of products to TomTec's well
established sales channels," commented Jeff Collins, President and CEO of The
Medipattern Corporation. "The teaming agreement combines each of our company's
strengths to lead the market with an enriched suite dedicated to breast care."
