MCK Manson Creek Resources Ltd

Manson Creek Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MCK) ('Manson Creek') is pleased to
announce the completion of claim staking in the Mayo mining district of the
Yukon. The recent staking has expanded Manson Creek's Tell property to
approximately 1,950 hectares. The claims are contiguous with the ATAC Rau
property, located approximately 140 kilometers east of Mayo, Yukon. 


These claims extend from the Tell Showing, a 300 meter gossan zone that contains
high metal and gold pathfinder mineralization, north to the Rau Claim group. The
additional claims were staked to encompass favourable geology hosting arsenic
and mercury anomalies outlined by Manson Creek geologists during prospecting
work from 2000-2005. As a result of the prospecting and subsequent exploration
programs, the Company has compiled an extensive proprietary geochemical,
geological and geophysical database of the region. 


Many of the recent gold discoveries in the region have been made in areas of
prominent gossan zones that contain pathfinder minerals. The Tell property
contains a large gossan as well as numerous arsenic and mercury anomalies that
are considered pathfinders for gold. The Tell property contains many of the
characteristics found in the Carlin style gold deposit model, including the
presence of carbonate and calcareous sedimentary rocks, stratabound
mineralization, folded stratigraphy, abundant barite, and presence of pathfinder
minerals such as arsenic and mercury. A similar model has been proposed for the
adjacent ATAC discoveries.


With the recent $1,058,000 financing, Manson Creek is well positioned to
undertake its planned 2011 Tell exploration program. The program will include
detailed soil and stream sampling, prospecting, geological mapping and trenching
to further define the mineralization present on the property.
